We collect data necessary to provide our services, including:

Account data: name, email address, and phone number.

Vehicle data: registration details sourced from DVLA/DVSA.

Payment data: processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

Verification data: business details for vendors. Sellers' identity and bank details are checked by our payment provider when they connect a bank account to get paid.

Communications: records of chat messages and support inquiries.

Usage data: device information and interaction history on our platform.

Your data is used to operate the marketplace and facilitate part requests and quotes, process secure payments and manage escrow funds, verify sellers through our payment provider to maintain platform safety, send critical transactional notifications via email and SMS, and comply with financial regulations and legal obligations.

We process data under the legal bases of Contract Performance (managing your account and orders), Legitimate Interests (fraud prevention and platform security), and Legal Obligation (tax records and UK GDPR compliance).

We share data only with essential partners: our payment provider (payments and seller verification), Companies House (business data), AWS (hosting), Postmark (email), and Twilio (SMS).

We never sell your personal information to third parties.

Account and transaction data are retained for 7 years after account closure to comply with UK tax law. Chat messages are retained for 2 years. Identity checks for sellers are carried out and kept by our payment provider under its own retention policy.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, and restrict the processing of your data. You may exercise these rights at any time.
